Golden Globes 2013

Hey Everyone!
Hope you all had a good week. It's finally Friday with a long weekend, which I greatly need after this long week.
So I hope you all watched the Golden Globes this week. If you didn't than I hope you at least watched the red carpet-- my favorite part!

So here are just a few of my favorite looks that were on the red carpet.

So first (going clockwise from top left) would be Nicole Richie, who is one of my fashion idols, wearing Naeem Khan.
Next would be a very pregnant Kristen Bell wearing Jenny Packham. This is one of the best looks I have ever seen a pregnant woman wear on the red carpet.
Jennifer Garner was wearing a gorgeous red Vivienne Westwood gown.
Starting the bottom row would be Megan Fox in Dolce & Gabbana.
Next is Nicole Kidman looking stunning in Alexander McQueen.
Lastly, my favorite of the night, was Michelle Dockery in an amazing Alexandre Vautheir gown. I absolutely LOVED this dress!

So now that I have shared my favorites from the Golden Globe red carpet, let me know who your favorites were, I can't wait to hear!

For now

How To Style: Cut Out Shoes

Hi Guys!
I have a few posts that I have saved into my drafts but blogger isn't letting me upload any of the photos I want to attach to them... So I decided to make another How To Style post on polyvore (because that's actually working).
Down below are four outfits styled with Cut Out Shoes. I am in love with cut out shoes. I have a pair of my own from Anthropolgie with a wooden heel I got last spring.
Each outfit is pretty transitional depending on the weather where you live, just add a pair of tights or stocking.

I hope you like these outfits. If you decide to recreate any of them make sure to comment below with the picture or the link, I would love to see them.

Have a great week (:

Happy New Year! My Favorite 2012 Winter Pieces

Hey Everyone!

So I want to apologize because I haven't written a post since probably the end of October. School has been crazy, what with tests, homework, and getting ready to take the SAT's. But my New Years resolution to you and myself is to blog more.

I'm really excited because I got a new camera for the holidays, which is a Nikon 1 J1. Before I was either just using my phone which wasn't that great quality or, my dad's camera, but now I have my own.

So for this post I just wanted to share some of my winter fashion favorites for you.

Of course, jeggings were a staple in my wardrobe. I like to feel comfortable when I am out, either at school or shopping, and jeggings are a great combonation of jeans and leggings.

Oversized sweaters are my absolute favorite winter essential. They are great for those chilly winter days, either outside or in.

Black leggings were also another staple in my closet. Because I am obsessed with oversized sweaters, leggings are great to pair with them.

I recently got these Doctor Marten floral boots and I absolutly love them. These are definatly a statement piece. I cannot tell you how many times I have been stopped because of these.

So let me know what your New Years resolutions and your favorite winter pieces in the comments below; also have a happy and healthy 2013!
