Spring Is Here

Hello my lovelies,

Hope your spring is starting off well. It's snowing outside where I live.

Anyway, to brighten up this snowy day I thought I would create a warm spring look.

I know I can't wait to wear bright dresses this spring. And don't forget the sunnies, which complete every look-- I can't leave the house without sunglasses in the spring. A cross body bag and your good to go.

What are you excited to wear this spring? Any styles or trends your looking out for?

Street Style Look

Hey Guys!

I would like to apologize in advance. I normally use polyvore to create looks and I can normally chose the layout, but today it made me use a template so it looks a little different.

So lately I have been completely inspired by street style and have been loving camo print. So here is a look with a cute pair of camo denim shorts and a simple tee. I have added just a simple thick gold chain necklace for jewelry and a pair of flat form sandals. Flat forms are on the top of my wish list for this summer. They add height without being too dressy or uncomfortable. The fringe bag keeps this look fun.

For nails I have been completely OBSESSED with Butter London nail polishes. They are a little pricey at $15 but are completely worth every penny. The consistency and texture is amazing. My latest favorite of theirs is Knackered, which is a light silver, holographic, sparkly color. It is light enough to wear through the spring and summer.

What do you think of this look? Do you like street style? Let me know your thoughts in the comments below.

Coco Chanel Is My Inspiration

Hello Lovely,

This whole week has been a blur because I was sick, I had a tummy virus, and it sucked.

But I did spent the whole week reading about my hero Gabrielle "Coco" Chanel.

I haven't finished this book yet, but it dives into Chanel's life before and after becoming the Miss Coco Chanel we all know and love. It starts with the Chanel family, before Gabrielle was even born. Also how she was given the name Coco (she told a man-- her first lover, Etienne -- that she was a singer and went on stage and sang two songs with the name Coco in it)

I also watched her documentary and it is fair to say that she will always be an inspiration. If you don't have time to read about her life, you should definitely watch this because it shows you her whole journey from start to finish. Through her career, family, and love life.

I absolutely love this women and deserves everything her brand has become.

I want to know who your inspiration is. Or let me know what you think about this amazing women, Coco Chanel.
