This Past Week...

Hello my lovelies,
Hope you all had a good because I know that I did and I wanted to share my experience with you.
So last Sunday I made the car ride from my house in South Jersey to New York City. Being an upcoming Senior in high school, I have been thinking about college. I know in my heart that fashion was in my future, but this past week I got to spend the whole week taking classes at LIM College. I stayed in the dorms, made amazing friends, and took great classes.
The my morning class was Fashion Magazine. I was lucky enough to have one of my two roommates, Madi, in that class. We partnered up to create a street style magazine called STREETS.

I was thinking of uploading some of the pages of STREETS for my next post. Let me know in the comments if you would like to see them.
Madi also has a blog called Imagine MADness if you want to check it out.

My second class was Celebrity Styling. This class led up to a photo shoot on Friday. The concept for the shoot was: to style Taylor Swift in a Punk Chaos spread in Nylon. Her are some behind the scenes of the photo shoot.

These are just pictures I took on my phone, but I will be posting the real photographs from the photograph in a few weeks.
I loved working on this photo shoot and pulling the clothes. Although all the research was a bit annoying, I was so happy with the outcome.
Just so you know the matching top and bottom are from H&M and the shoes belonged to the model Olga.

While researching for the shoot, our class took a trip to the MET's Punk Chaos exhibit. You weren't suppose to take pictures there but here are a few that I got to take.

I would recommend everyone to go to see this exhibit before it closes. The achieved clothes were absolutely beautiful.

So there's a little wrap up of my week at LIM. Let me know if you like these kind of posts in the comments :)

Summer Dresses

Hi Loves,

In the summer dresses are my favorite thing to wear in the hot weather. Their simple, easy, and cool to throw on in the morning and your all ready for your day.

Here are some cute summer dresses anyone could wear this summer.

The first dress is a simple floral dress paired with neutral sandals.

The second is a monochrome dress with black loafers. This look is simple and chic, perfect for a day to night look when swapping out the loafers for heels.

The third dress is a black maxi dress. A black maxi is a staple summer piece because it can be dressed up or down. It can be paired with a flower crown for a festival ready boho look, like above. Or you could dress it up and look ultra chic.

Each look is complete with a pair of fun sunglasses which tops off every summer look.

How do you like to pair your summer dresses? Let e know in the comments!

Until next time...

Recently I have found a fashion illustrator named Hayden William. He is a 21 year old illustrator from the UK who draws the most amazing illustrations.

Alber Elbaz for Lancome

Hey Everyone!

Hope you are all having an amazing summer so far.

I was on YouTube for my daily fix of fashion and beauty videos when I came across this adorable ad for Alber Elbaz for Lancôme. Usually, like most people, I don't pay attention to advertisements or skip them if possible. But this commercial just drew me in. It is just so cute and adorable that I wanted to share it with you.

I also did some research on Alber Elbaz, because I didn't know much about him. Alber Elbaz is an Israeli fashion designer who has worked for the Paris fashion house Lanvin since 2001. Elbaz won the International Award from the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) in June 2005 and was named one of Time magazine's 100 Most Influential People in the World in 2007.

Let me know what your thoughts are on this commercial in the comments below. Also if you tried the makeup from this let me know because I was thinking of stopping by the Lancôme counter.
